Have you ever considered fencing as part of a corporate event or activity day, or for a private party, or even for a children's party? Radcliffe Sword Club has the skill and experience to make your event an occasion to remember.
Our Club arranged Nottingham’s successful ‘Light Night’ fencing presentations in Exchange Arcade in 2009 and at Nottingham Castle in 2010 and 2011, at which all fencing clubs in Nottingham were invited to demonstrate the three Olympic fencing weapons, foil epee and sabre, and to run have-a-go mini-fence sessions for adults and children.
Light Night 2012 will take place on Friday 10th February. We will be running the fencing demonstration and have-a-go sessions in the Ballroom on the first floor of the Council House.
We have also arranged one-off fencing themed events for stag weekends, office groups, schools and corporate events.
In March 2011 we also contributed to Cotgrave Candleby Lane School's Olympic Sports Day, arranging a fencing session for year 4 pupils. For feedback and information on this event click here.
All equipment is provided, and all sessions are led by our qualified coaches.
For details of what you need to bring to a session please read our Joining Instructions.
